Jersey Strong Marlboro was opened in July of 2013 in what was once an Acme grocery store at the corner of Route 79 and Ryan Road. It wasn’t a question of, if Jersey Strong was coming to Marlboro, it was where and when. Stephen Roma Jr. grew up in Marlboro and made it no secret of wanting to open a club there. Plus, with many of the town already split and driving to both Jersey Strong Freehold or Jersey Strong East Brunswick, the Roma family knew a club in Marlboro would be a huge success, and it has been since the day it opened its doors.

Great place to work out! Has a great variety of classes to choose from. The class instructors are wonderful and friendly! Denise has amazing energy and is so fun to workout with and that helps getting through Blast class. Wide selection of weights/machines.
I have always hated to exercise, and I have never sustained long-term results at any gym or with any trainer I have worked with in the past. I have been a member at different gyms in 3 different states and I have never enjoyed being there. Jersey Strong Marlboro, Brian (training manager), and Chantae (personal trainer) have changed all of that. The facility is immaculate, airy, and spacious. Even on the hottest days of the summer, it is pleasant to be there. But most importantly, Brian and Chantae have changed my life and my health. With their help, I lost 25 pounds and gotten in the best shape I have been in in the last 18 years. They are encouraging and inspiring and I will never give up the gains they helped me achieve. The facility is very nice and overall it is a decent value. The folks who work there are very nice and kind. I wish there was more group training days including Zumba with evening hours. All and all, if you are someone who works out independently, this is a good place for the money.
Great gym. They have everything you can possibly need and then some. They also have a great private training area.
I train with Chris Greco. He’s dedicated, driven and very knowledgeable about nutrition, supplements and exercise. Whether you are shooting for weight loss or trying to achieve that elusive beach body, I strongly recommend Chris. I’ve worked with several trainers over the years and I have never met anyone that cares as much about his clients, listens intently to feedback or drives you to be a better person in and out of the gym. In just a few months I have seen a transformation in my physique and overall well-being. More important, I have learned a lot from Chris. He has helped me to improve my solo workouts and drives me to get the most out of our sessions together. If you are determined to change your body image or just want to get the most out of your experience in the gym, get with Chris. You won’t regret it.
