Opportunity knocked on Jersey Strong’s door in mid 2013, as a large privately owned health club in Manalapan New Jersey was about to shut its doors. Its owners came to the Roma family, and Jersey Strong Manalapan was born in December 2013. Though the club had a membership base in place and Jersey Strong staff moved over immediately, it still wasn’t quite a wow. That was until a 1.8 million dollar renovation swept through in the spring and summer of 2014 and transformed Jersey Strong Manalapan into a sleek brand new Jersey Strong location. It’s located on Gordon’s Corner Road in Manalapan, just off Route 9 and close to famous Englishtown Auction.

Great place to work out! Has a great variety of classes to choose from. The class instructors are wonderful and friendly! Denise has amazing energy and is so fun to workout with and that helps getting through Blast class. Wide selection of weights/machines.
I have always hated to exercise, and I have never sustained long-term results at any gym or with any trainer I have worked with in the past. I have been a member at different gyms in 3 different states and I have never enjoyed being there. Jersey Strong Marlboro, Brian (training manager), and Chantae (personal trainer) have changed all of that. The facility is immaculate, airy, and spacious. Even on the hottest days of the summer, it is pleasant to be there. But most importantly, Brian and Chantae have changed my life and my health. With their help, I lost 25 pounds and gotten in the best shape I have been in in the last 18 years. They are encouraging and inspiring and I will never give up the gains they helped me achieve. The facility is very nice and overall it is a decent value. The folks who work there are very nice and kind. I wish there was more group training days including Zumba with evening hours. All and all, if you are someone who works out independently, this is a good place for the money.
Great gym. They have everything you can possibly need and then some. They also have a great private training area.
I train with Chris Greco. He’s dedicated, driven and very knowledgeable about nutrition, supplements and exercise. Whether you are shooting for weight loss or trying to achieve that elusive beach body, I strongly recommend Chris. I’ve worked with several trainers over the years and I have never met anyone that cares as much about his clients, listens intently to feedback or drives you to be a better person in and out of the gym. In just a few months I have seen a transformation in my physique and overall well-being. More important, I have learned a lot from Chris. He has helped me to improve my solo workouts and drives me to get the most out of our sessions together. If you are determined to change your body image or just want to get the most out of your experience in the gym, get with Chris. You won’t regret it.
